We run karmann ghia disc set-up on the front and rear but for the rear we'll run a Porsche 911 rotor so we can run a wider wheel on the rear for our VW woods buggy's. I learned 20 years ago about how a bumpy trail can play a role in a drum brake style wheel cylinder blowing out instantly leaving you with no brakes.

the whole story is crap. get your car to an experienced mechanic and let him adjust ignition and carburetor properly. Afterwards you can skip this show, just pull the choke, don't use the accelerator and crank. As the idle speed becomes faster you con can push back the choke step by step

All you have to do is roll the inside fender lips up. That'll give you the 3/8s or so clearence. Do this on 5,and6 Mustangs all the time. Eastwood even has a tool for doing just that!!!

Question the driver side inner quarter panel does it sit on top of the truck pan or does the pan sit on top of the inner panel lip ?
